Crisis Committee
Following the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation due to their illegal annexation of the crimean peninsula the Russian Federation set up naval, military bases in Mexico allowing them to launch an attack on main land USA moments notice. this led to a series of back and forth guerrilla warfare between the United States their allies and the Russian Federation including minor rifts in the Antarctic ice sheet, a British fighter jet crashing near the outskirts of a Russian town and the Russian occupation of the Pitcairn islands leading to the United Kingdom threatening to go to war with the Russian Federation. Now, it is this committees responsibility to diffuse this tension that could possibly turn into a large-scale nuclear conflict.
The Crisis Committee at MUN@DPSD is another new addition to the conference and consists of a basic premise that will be developed as the conference progresses. |
